Mary Ann Wallace, MD, MA,
integrative medicine leader for Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, Oregon, an expanding hospital system-based integrative
practice writes: “We're
recruiting for MDs, DOs, NPs for our expanded Heartspring Wellness Centers.
Growin’ like gangbusters, and need more docs! We’re not only adding
primary care (done differently!), but will be the hub for several fully integrated and integrative programs – such as Cancer Care (no, our docs don’t
need to be oncologists, we’ll be working closely with them), Weight Management
(working closely with the Bariatric program which, prior to our deep
involvement revolved primarily around surgery) and Integrated Chronic Disease
Management. Lots going on. And – we really need more docs!” Wallace
also has a new book on the Heart of Healing, on her web page. Those interested should contact Heartspring.
