Triad Healthcare Joins Integrator Blog News & Reports Sponsor Group
We are pleased to share with you that Triad Healthcare, a Connecticut based allied specialty managed care organization has chosen to support your access to the IBN&R services through becoming a sponsor of IBN&R news and networking activities. The firm, founded in 1996, is led by CEO Agostino "Tino" Villani, DC.
The firm provides medical management, claims processing, credentialing, call center and network services and also manages risk "carve-out" arrangements. While the core of Triad's business is managed through its network of 7000 chiropractors, Triad also utilizes physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists in its pain managment program. The firm is accredited through URAC.
Pattern of Sponsorship of Integration Work
Triad has been a sponsor of numerous key efforts to foster collaboration in the emerging field of integrated care. The firm:
Co-hosted gatherings of the community of people interested in managed CAM at the National Managed Health Care Congress in the late 1990s.
Co-sponsored the Employer/Managed Care Working Group of the Collaboration for Healthcare Renewal Foundation.
A Distinctive Provider-Oriented Mission
A visit to Triad's website, and particularly a review of the information there for network providers, reveals Triad's efforts to find a balance between the art of practice and the client's need for quantifiable, managed outcomes.

patient, then acknowledges that this diversity of practice can dim the ability of an outsider to understand chiropractic's place and its value: "On the one hand, (chiropractic) cannot be categorized, pigeon holed or tied down as a profession. On the other hand, those who wish to understand, embrace and support us cannot so easily do so."
Triad CEO Tino Villani
Triad president and CEO Villani, who took the lead in promoting the IBN&R sponsorship, has served in a variety of leadership roles in his profession and industry. He has chaired the Connecticut Board of Chiropractic Examiners and served as a delegate to the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is also on the Clinical Accreditation Committee of URAC. Villani also speaks and writes on integrative medicine, transforming health care and is the author of a forthcoming book on pain management.
The Integrator Blog News & Reports thanks Villani and Triad for making a commitment which is helping make the delivery of the IBN&R services possible. A special thanks, also, to Triad vice president of communications, Hillary Davis, for her assistance to IBN&R in some early stages of blog and website decisions.
