  • "The Bigger Fix: A Look at a Unique Integrative Medicine Rotation" is the title of an article focusing on work coming out on a US grant to put integrative medicine in preventive medicine.
  • Memorial Sloan Kettering's integrative cancer leader Barrie Cassileth, PhD is a co-author on this Medscape "myth-busters" piece on integrative oncology. Edzard Ernst is also on it.

  • The SouthAsianMail.com piece features the duo of Gorski and Novella on whether we should research complementary and alternative medicines.

    Following a call by the nation's health director to remove all illegal billboards, the Tanzanian traditional healers association is calling on its members to set up committees to gain more respect. One healer responds in this Tanzania Daily News piece.
  • The remarkable natural food/medicine practice of Mindanao's self-styled Dok Alternatibo is the subject of this article. The article notes that a traditional medicine's law "created the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care supposedly to accelerate the development of traditional and alternative healthcare in the country and provide funds for this. Not one of the institute’s directors, however, practices alternative medicine.
